North Parapet Survey Results

Background to the North Parapet and how we arrived at this situation is available here.
Quick answer: Light Ivory
NetworkRail offered us four options.

As Stirling Council confirmed the following last year to NetworkRail.
Stirling Council to NetworkRail
Our preferred steps to achieving a resolution would be;
1) High pressure water jetting to clean and remove and existing surface coating.
2) Repair any areas of deterioration with a suitable high strength non-shrink repair mortar (most likely not needed given it is a new wall)
3) Apply a primer
4) Apply protective, decorative, hydrophobic, anti-carbonation coating — this can be any colour this coating can be 15yrs to first maintenance. Our preferred option would be a plain colour as opposed to some of the more complex solutions put forward, i.e. contours/patterned wall etc.
5) Apply anti-graffiti coating (the period to first maintenance of this would need to be confirmed)
On the 20th March 2019, NetworkRail contacted the local Elected Members, Stirling Council, and the Dunblane Community Council to request a final decision and reminded everyone that the previously supplied indicative patterned options were out of scope.

Local organisations and the Stirling Observer helped highlight the options available to the community and that a survey was being run, this enabled over 300 responses to be received.
Making this the third most responded to survey in our recent history.
With over 50% of the votes cast, the community has selected Light Ivory.
